Chipping House is a place for you to unwind and relax. Our aim is to make your stay here both soothing and convivial. The following is a list of the facilities that make your stay just that little bit easier. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any special requirements.

 

Welcome tray: Tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits

Starter supplies: Loo rolls, soap, cleaning materials, J-cloth, washing up liquid and washing powder

Linen included: Towels, tea towels, pillows (two per person) with pillowcases, duvets with covers and bottom bed sheet

Young children: Cot, mattress and high chair (all from John Lewis) - please note cot linen is not included

Older children: Plenty of toys, books and games, including a rocking horse, a dolls’ house and a piano suitable for children

Adults: Plenty of books, games, jigsaws and a piano suitable for adults

Included: Electricity, gas central heating and hot water. Wood for log burners in drawing room and dayroom/library

Washing: Washing machine, tumble dryer, ceiling mounted drying rack, outside washing line

Kitchen: Food mixer, kettle, microwave, toaster, Stellar stainless steel saucepans, crockery, glass and cutlery

Appliances: Four-ring hob, double oven, dishwasher, hostess trolley, Dyson vacuum cleaner, fridge/freezer, hair dryer, tumble drier, televisions, hi-fi system, DVD player, CD player, radio

Computer: Study with desk, office chair, 4 power points and stationery, Wifi internet access
